Vaccines save lives.
They have saved the lives of more infants and children than any other medical intervention in the past 50 years. And thanks to vaccines, infectious diseases that were the leading cause of death worldwide 100 years ago are now the cause of less than five per cent of all deaths in Canada. Vaccines have also been responsible for eradicating smallpox globally, and wiping out polio in North, Central and South America. But experience shows us that diseases can quickly return when fewer people are immunized. That is why it is important to remember that when you are immunized, you protect not only yourself, but also those around you. When the majority of people in a community are immunized against a specific disease, the chance of an outbreak of that disease is greatly reduced.
Here at Royal Care Compounding Pharmacy, we strongly believe in vaccines and protecting the health of Albertans is our highest priority. Speak with any of our pharmacists or other health care providers to make sure you and your family are up to date with your immunizations.
We are a certified injection/vaccine “Administration Site”. Our clinic pharmacy offers our patients a variety of immunizations that you need in order to stay well and healthy. Please call to make your appointment or to speak with one of our pharmacists about your immunization needs.
